
The small SanPlat 60x60 cm is easily made in an all-in-one plastic mould. For best results the first portion of concrete should be a cement slurry. Later much stiffer concrete (1+2+2 volumes of cement, sand an stone) is added to absorb the excess water.

In Mozambique only, over 200 000 dome shaped SanPlats have been built. In spite of its size a dome shaped slab is light wight and easily installed over a simple pit alone.

Using the all-in-one SanPlat Mould there is no upper limit for how smooth a SanPlat can become.
This SanPlat has been sanded with grade 80 (black) sand paper and polished with wax. The cost is minimal and the result fantastic.
